Bhumi Pednekar has an interesting year to look forward to with some rather unconventional films in the pipeline. While the actress always had a keen inclination towards out-of-the-box cinema, this time around too, she has films like Saand Ki Aankh and Bala that will be keeping her busy. The actress, who recently wrapped up her film with Taapsee Pannu, just decided to immediately dive into another project which reunites her with her favorite co-star Ayushmann Khurrana – Bala.

Bhumi Pednekar will be playing the lead role opposite her Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan co-star Ayushmann Khurrana in Bala, making it a hattrick with the actor. But before she gets into the grind, Bhumi has decided to start the prep with physical training and workout session. After wrapping up Saand Ki Aankh, Bhumi will now be shedding the weight that she had put on for the Anurag Kashyap production and it will for Bala.

Bhumi will be seen as a 60+ year old shooter in Saand Ki Aankh because of which she had to put on weight. On the other hand, she will be seen as a young girl in the Ayushmann Khurrana film. Keeping in mind the transition, the actress decided to kick off the process with some rigorous workout sessions. She recently posted this video of her training in the gym as her Instagram story.

Last seen in Son Chiriya, Bhumi Pednekar wrapped up Saand Ki Aankh with the entire team earlier this week and also posted videos and pictures from the sets of the film:
