Well, it is not the first time where we have seen celebs aping and repeating dance steps of a popular track. While many-a-times it is also possibly for the promotions of an upcoming film, sometimes it is also the hook steps of a few songs that probably intrigue them. This time around, we saw some celebrities like Shahid Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez, not trying to ape an artist but an alien! Don’t believe us? Then, here are their videos of the ‘Dame Tu Cosita’ challenge.
Ok, maybe it is not a challenge as yet, but ‘Dame Tu Cosita’ has definitely become a rather viral trend on social media. Some even call it the next big thing after ’Gangnam Style’ by Psy! We are sure many remember about the way this Korean pop had ruled charts for couple of years. But now, the Panamanian creation by El Chambo seems to have kicked off a similar trend.
Not surprisingly, Bollywood has already taken a liking to this peppy number which features an alien dancing in its video. In fact, the animated video has attracted so much attention that some popular celebrities have been trying to ape its steps too. Amongst the first ones who have posted about the song on social media is Shahid Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.
While Shahid posted his and the original video alongside each other via an app on Instagram, Jacqueline tried aping the steps along with her stylist Shaan and posted the same on her social media page. Jacqueline and Shaan were seen dancing on ‘Dame Tu Cosita’ on the sets of Race 3 in Abu Dhabi. And Shahid was seen dancing away to glory at the lawn of his residence in Juhu, suburban Mumbai.
