Yash Raj Films mega action adventure, Thugs of Hindostan, will record another feat when it releases worldwide on November 8. This larger than life, visually immersive extravaganza that boasts of jaw-dropping action sequences, achieved a casting coup by bringing together two of the icons of Hindi cinema Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan for the first time on big screen. Thugs of Hindostan trailer released today on September 27, the birth anniversary of legendary film-maker and founder of YRF, Yash Chopra.
The trailer gives a gist of the story set in 1795 when the East India Company came to India for business but ended up ruling the country under the ruler John Clive. But, some thugs like Zafira (Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Khudabaksh aka Azaad (Amitabh Bachchan) did not like the idea of being slaves. To destroy and control Azaad, the British ruler John Clive recruits Firangi (Aamir Khan) who is a quirky and charming thug with a lot of tricks under his belt. While Suraiyya (Katrina Kaif) is introduced as a dancer and somewhat of Firangi’s love interest, it is the interactions between Azaad and Firangi that make it an interesting watch.
The trailer is filled with power packed action sequences on a pirate ship and definitely gives the vibes of Johnny Depp’s epic franchise Pirates of the Caribbean. Giving the story an Indian twist, the trailer packs a punch. Yash Raj Films Diwali extravaganza Thugs of Hindostan promises jaw dropping action, visual extravaganza and a larger than life cinematic experience.
Thugs of Hindostan also co-stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film is set to entertain audiences across age groups to a visual treat like never before when it releases on November 8.
