Sonam Kapoor, on the eve of her wedding, is an epitome of cool. She is calm, collected and insanely poised as she gets all set to walk the aisle with her long time boyfriend Anand Ahuja. But despite being all chilled out, minimalistic modern bride, she has not forgotten her roots and is getting married in a typical Punjabi fashion. So, naturally her shaadi is all about booze, dance and the whole shenanigans associated with the big fat Punjabi wedding. After having a small Mehendi ceremony for her close family, there was a Mehendi / Sangeet organised today for the friends and family from the industry. Well by the looks of it, the party has only just started and both bride and groom have their party faces on!

The bride chose a spectacular white lehenga from the house of Abu Jaani - Sandeep Khosla and all her guests have followed the same dress code. Inside the plush suburban hotel where the party is on right now, papa Anil Kapoor is setting dance floor on fire with Shilpa Shetty, Karan Johar among others.
While Anil Kapoor is the bride’s happy father, brother Arjun Kapoor surely is having gala with his cousins and buddies Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez. They have been clicking pictures and videos and waiting for their buddy Ranveer Singh to arrive to the party.
Like a typical Punjabi bride, Sonam tried to drop the kalire on Janhvi Kapoor's head but well it didn't fall. So, for the uninitiated dropping kalire is the Punjabi version of bridesmaids catching the bouquet thrown by the bride. So in this case, the next in line for marriage is the one on whose head kalire falls! Looks like there is still time for Janu to go down this road.
