Shahid Kapoor resumes the shoot of Deva : Bollywood News

Shahid Kapoor, who is currently riding high on the success of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, has dived into his next. The actor, who had kicked off the shoot of the action entertainer Deva, has resumed the shoot of the film. Not too long ago, reports had it that his leading lady Pooja Hegde as well as actor Pavail Gulati, who essays a key role in the movie, have also joined him for the shoot of the Rosshan Mathew directorial.

The actor took to social media to mark his ‘return’ to the sets of Deva as he posted a monochrome photo of him in a ganji with his back turned to the camera as well as a smoking effect has been added to the intensity of the picture. He is seen staring outside a window amid an urban setup with buildings all around him. He captioned it saying, “‘Back’ on set DEVA!!”.

For the unversed, Shahid Kapoor had already kicked off the shoot of this highly anticipated entertainer last year. However, last month, he decided to take a break to promote his romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya with Kriti Sanon last month. The duo promoted the film across the country in February and later, the actor also attended the much-talked about lavish pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, where he was accompanied by his wife Mira Rajput and kids. However, now the actor is expected to have returned to work.

Deva is expected to be an adrenaline pumping action thriller featuring Shahid in the role of a cop and he has been paired alongside Pooja Hegde for the first time. Produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, it is expected to release worldwide on October 11, 2024, during the occasion of Dussehra.
