Salman Khan’s Bharat is a movie which is a lot in discussion, thanks to its former leading lady Priyanka Chopra’s dramatic decision to quit the movie to get married to her boyfriend Nick Jonas. While this left even the makers of the film shell shocked, the search for the leading lady is on and there are a lot of names thrown about. Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez, Deepika Padukone are the top options which are alleged to be considered by the makers to fill in the shoes of Priyanka Chopra. While we all are waiting with bated breath for the makers to announce the name soon, here is one star that has already auditioned for the role of female protagonist opposite Salman Khan and by the looks of it, the person in question has managed to impress the makers.
Hold on to your horses before we tell you that the celeb who is interested to replace PC is none other than comedian Sunil Grover’s alter ego Nancy. The video is captioned as, "Application for the vacancy from Nancy". Director Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted this video and wrote on a serious note, “Yes yes yes ... we will announce the leading lady of Bharat soon.. We have been shooting Non-stop and the simultaneously preparing for international schedules ....” The curiosity will end soon as the makers will announce the most awaited name. Bharat is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is inspired by the Korean movie Ode To My Father. It is a magnum opus revolving around seven decades starting from pre-independence period.
