Actress and Congress member Nagma took a jibe at BJP member and actress Jaya Pradha's recent comment on the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood. Nagma said that people are talking about Bollywood’s drug culture to divert attention from the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
"CBI, NCB, ED pls answer to #BJP Member #JayaPrada Ji on what's happening to #SSR case.. it's been so long we are all waiting for what's the outcome but no result, and to cover up suddenly all #bjp members r talking about drugs in #Bollywood as Nation is still waiting #SSRDeathCase," Nagma tweeted on Thursday.

Nagma’s comment comes a day after Jaya Pradha came out in support of BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan who claimed that Bollywood is addicted to drugs. Jaya Pradha said, “I completely support Ravi Kishan ji’s remarks about saving youth from the problem of drug trafficking, addiction. We need to raise our voice against the use of drugs and we need to save our youth. I think Jaya Bachchan ji is doing politics over the issue.”
During the parliament session a few days back, Jaya Bachchan had expressed shock at Ravi Kishan’s remarks. “Just because there are some people, you can’t tarnish the image of the entire industry. I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha, who is from the film industry, spoke against it. It is a shame,” she had said.
