Mrunal Thakur opens up on her crying photo; says, “It takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable in front of the world” : Bollywood News

Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur had posted a teary-eyed photo and spoke about how vulnerable and naive she was. In a recent interview, Mrunal stated that she woke up “powerful” after she posted the picture. She also believed that being vulnerable in front of the public requires a lot of bravery.

Mrunal told Bombay Times, “There are times when I end up posting a happy picture, but I don’t feel the same. The day I posted that picture, I woke up feeling powerful, happy and courageous enough to know that no problem can put you down in life. There are days when we end up losing our self-esteem, confidence and we question our worth. Self-doubt takes over.”

She continued, “In a world where there’s an overdose of information and opinions, there are so many voices around you that you stop listening to your inner voice. It takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable in front of the world.”

Mrunal had posted a photo of herself crying earlier this month on her Instagram Stories. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Yesterday was tough. But today I'm stronger, wiser and happy! Everybody has pages in their stories they don't read out loud but I'm choosing to read mine out loud – because maybe someone out needs to learn the lesson I learnt.” Mrunal also added, “Taking one day at a time! It's ok to be naive and vulnerable.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mrunal was last seen in Gumraah with Aditya Roy Kapur. The film was an official remake of film Tamil-language film Thadam starring Arun Vijay. She also did a cameo in Akshay Kumar starrer Selfiee. She could be seen shaking a leg with Akshay in the song ‘Kudiye Ni Teri’. She will be next seen in Pippa opposite Ishan Khatter. Mrunal also has Pooja Mera Naam with Huma Qureshi, Telugu film with Natural star Nani and R Balki’s Lust Stories 2.
