Prabhu Deva, who is thrilled with the Padma Shri shared the picture from the ceremony and also posted about it on Twitter saying, “Thanks for all the love u all gave , ur love gave me. This award , I dedicate this award to the love u all gave.” Starting his career as a choreographer, Prabhu Deva is not only a renowned dancer and actor but also a popular filmmaker.

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal walked away with the third 3^rd highest civilian honour as confessed by him. The actor won Padma Bhushan and he expressed his excitement of the same on Twitter in a series of posts. He said, “Received #PadmaBhushan, The 3rd Highest Civilian Award from The Honorable President of India, with jubilation. I express fervent gratitude to the Supreme Power & all well wishers, for being a part of my journey. Truly happy with this inimitable moment. #PadmaAwards.”
