The trailer of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was launched today with much fun fare. Interestingly, the trailer has been released just 11 days before release. Meanwhile, in a rare instance, the first song of the film, ‘Naiyo Laga’, was launched way back on February 14. Despite having an old-school feel, the song became a huge hit. At the Filmfare press conference last week, Salman Khan said that many had doubts about this song and wondered if it’ll work with the viewers. Today at the launch of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman Khan further spoke about it.

Salman Khan said, “For ‘Naiyo Lagda’, everyone was against me. It was said, 'he has lost the plot', '80s ka gaana lag raha hai', 'how will it work' and 'he has become arrogant'. I was clear, 'Mujhe pasand hai. Yeh meri picture hai. Toh isme yeh gaana main daal raha hoon. Aur agar yeh gaana nahin chalega, toh yeh nahin hoga ki mere agli film mein aap interfere karo. Uss film mein bhi yeh mauka nahin milega! Toh chill karo. Jab director ko pasand hai, heroine ko pasand hai, hero ko pasand hai, toh gaana humne daal diya’.”

Singer Palak Muchhal, who sang ‘Naiyo Lagda’, was also present at the event. She talked highly about Salman. Salman, in turn, revealed, “She had sung this song long back. Yeh gaana mere paas 10 saal se pada tha. She does a lot of good work and charity. Aaj kal busy hai shaadi karke!”

Salman Khan then shared an interesting trivia about Palak Mucchal, “We had offered her a role in the film. Lekin inke bade papa ne bola ki nahin karna! Later her parents convinced bade papa. But by then, someone else had bagged the role.”

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is all set to release in cinemas on April 21, 2023, that is, on Eid.
