Ananya Pandey along with her Kho Gaye Hum Kahan co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav will be attending and interacting with festival goers at the 14th edition of BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender which is being held at Pune’s Teerth Fields from December 1-3 this year.

The Kho Gaye Hum Kahan star cast will be launching the film’s first track ‘Hone Do Jo Hota Hai’ on the final day of the festival at Bollywood composers Oaff x Savera's mainstage set in the latter half of the day, marking the very first time a commercial Bollywood film has taken an unconventional route to release the film's soundtrack at a large-scale music festival.

India’s ‘happiest music festival’ which attracts thousands of fans every year features American rap superstar and actor YG aka Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson, British pop icon M.I.A., British progressive metal band Monuments as well as homegrown gems such Daler Mehndi, MC Stan, Euphoria, on its 2023 billing.

OAFF states, “This song launch is very exciting and special for us for many reasons. This the first time we got to work with the legendary Javed Akhtar and we are honoured. With Ankur Tewari supervising the music on the film, it’s like a full circle with the Gehraiyaan gang of Savera, Lothika and myself coming together since we enjoy working together a lot. I’m glad that Arjun Varain had the vision to explore this incredible sync as it’s an avant-garde strategy to connect Bollywood and indie music. This is the first time we are going into an indie rock zone and it reminds me of bands like Vampire Weekend and Bombay Bicycle Club. It’s a new sound we are experimenting with in this film and a soundscape we grew up listening to.

Savera states, “We’ve gone back to basics with our new song 'Hone Do Jo Hota Hai.' Simple songwriting with familiar instruments, guitars-drums-bass. Our band consists of some of the best musicians in the world!! And to add to that, we’re going to have new friends joining in when we play Hone Do Jo Hota Hai. Ananya Pandey, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Adarsh Gourav, Ankur Tewari and Arjun Varain are basically buddies and we’re kicked to have them on stage with us! May the one with the best dance moves win.”

The star cast expressed their excitement as they took to social media to confirm the news.

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, supported by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, brings to life the story of three close-knit friends in the bustling city of Mumbai. Directed by debutant filmmaker Arjun Varain Singh, the film's first teaser was unveiled earlier in 2021, creating a buzz in the industry. Produced under the banners of Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films, the modern-day drama will exclusively premiere on Netflix.
