Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was honoured at the third edition of the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia with the prestigious Yusr Award which was presented to him by none other than the iconic Hollywood actress Sharon Stone. He also sat down for a conversation about his work, Don 3, Deepika Padukone and how India is all set to take over the global map. The actor spoke about how his wife has also helped him achieve a healthy work-life balance.

“In the early days especially, and until a few years ago, I hadn’t developed the mechanism to let go of the character or the emotion of the day. However, as you grow up and accumulate different tools and skills as an actor, you develop the ability to compartmentalize (the characters and emotions),” Ranveer Singh said during an interview in Jeddah on Thursday, November 30.

“It’s also something I learned from my wife [Deepika Padukone]. She’s a very fine artist herself, and there is a lot to learn from her as well. She’s the one from whom I picked this up, as she never brings work back home. That’s something I have cultivated by observing her. So, I am grateful to her,” he added.

The actor further said, “There are things that I have learned from her that have really helped me in my work. So, to have a life partner like that is hugely advantageous. She understands the challenges and difficulties and has tools and skills that you can learn from; and vice versa too.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh will be seen in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe Singham Again alongside Deepika Padukone. He has reportedly signed Baiju Bawra with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He also has Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3.
