Suhana Khan, the daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is all set to make her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's upcoming film The Archies. In a recent interview with NDTV, Suhana spoke about her role in the film, her struggles with social media scrutiny, and her hopes for the future.

In The Archies, Suhana plays the role of Veronica Lodge, a central character in the popular Archie Comics. When asked about what attracted her to the role, Suhana said, "For me, it was Zoya who drew me in. It's an opportunity, especially for your first film, that you just can't refuse."

When asked why she chose Suhana for the role of Veronica, Zoya responded, "She is a very vulnerable princess. I wanted Ronnie (Veronica's nickname) to be very vulnerable, and she is a princess; she doesn't have to try."

Coming back to Suhana, the star kid also opened up about the challenges of facing social media scrutiny. She said, "To be honest, I don't handle it very well, but I'm trying. Ironically, facing mean comments has made me appreciate kindness even more. Meeting real people, especially girls, is heartwarming, seeing their warmth towards you. So that helps me a lot to separate the two, as one is reality and the other is not."

Despite the challenges, Suhana remains optimistic about her future. She said, "I don't know… Hopefully, in five years, I will be doing the work that I love and doing my part to bring about changes in the world."

The Archies is scheduled to be released on Netflix on December 7.
