Actor Hrithik Roshan has praised Shahid Kapoor’s latest release O'Romeo, calling it an entertaining watch and applauding Kapoor’s performance in the romantic action thriller.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Roshan wrote, “The quirkiness of #ORomeo eventually wins you over. I had fun. @shahidkapoor you do this genre BEST. Too good you are. Go watch it in the theatres guys. Also that running in circles action was brilliant.”
The endorsement comes as the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial continues to draw attention for its narrative, performances and action sequences. Said to be inspired by true events and based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi, the film blends romance with crime and high-stakes drama.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, O’ Romeo features an ensemble cast including Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal and Vikrant Massey.
Amid the growing buzz, Bhardwaj has expressed confidence in the film’s trajectory. Speaking about audience response, he said, “To evoke a reaction from the audience, one has to reinvent oneself with every story. Creation begins where comfort ends. O’Romeo was born in that space.” He further added, “I believe O’Romeo is going to be my most successful film at the box office.”
With strong word of mouth and celebrity endorsements adding to the momentum, O’ Romeo continues its theatrical run.
