In a unique crossover bridging Bollywood nostalgia with Hollywood spectacle, Hrithik Roshan has collaborated with the team of Project Hail Mary to introduce the film to Indian audiences. The promotional video brings together two beloved cinematic worlds, featuring Hrithik alongside ‘Rocky’, the alien from the upcoming film, and ‘Jaadu’ from Koi Mil Gaya.
The video showcases a playful interaction where Rocky learns the iconic hook step of ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’ from Hrithik, referencing one of the actor’s most memorable on-screen moments. The intergalactic exchange takes a nostalgic turn as Jaadu, Hrithik’s iconic alien companion from Koi Mil Gaya, reacts to the budding friendship, creating a blend of old and new sci-fi storytelling.
The collaboration taps into the enduring popularity of Hrithik and Jaadu’s on-screen bond, using it as a cultural bridge to introduce Project Hail Mary to Indian viewers. The campaign highlights the universal appeal of human-alien friendships, drawing parallels between Hrithik’s earlier work and the themes explored in the new film.
Interestingly, the association also carries a personal connection. The film is based on a bestselling novel by Andy Weir, known for The Martian, and Hrithik Roshan had publicly expressed admiration for the book in December 2025. This alignment between the actor’s personal interest and the project adds authenticity to the collaboration.

Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the film stars Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace, an astronaut who wakes up aboard a mysterious spacecraft with no memory of his mission. The cast also includes Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung, and Milana Vayntrub.
Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing International, Project Hail Mary is slated to release in Indian cinemas on March 26, 2026, in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, across IMAX and other premium formats.
