Talking about the same, Deepika considers Aishwarya as the torch bearer for putting Indian stars on the global map.

Deepika Padukone further added that she along with Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan have managed to break stereotypes in the western market as they got the opportunity at the right time. They got the roles for their talent and not because of their skin colour.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone is collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for third time for another magnum opus project titled Padmavati.
