Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi starrer Dil Bechara has been in news ever since they announced the film. The film is the Indian remake of Hollywood romantic drama, The Fault In Our Stars which starred Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley. The film, which was earlier called Kizie Aur Manny, had to change its title to Dil Bechara.
As The Fault In The Stars completes five years today, the filmmaker shared a glimpse of the romance between Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi. They are seen riding a bike together. He wrote, “From the moment I saw it 5 years ago, I knew this was the story I wanted to tell in my first film! The film also made headlines when harassment allegations were made against Mukesh Chhabra and Sushant Singh Rajput. While Sushant and Sanjana had clarified that there weren’t any issues between them as such, the director, on the other hand, had to step down until the investigation was done. After the inquiries were completed, Mukesh Chhabra resumed the shooting.
Dil Bechara, produced by Fox Star Studios, is a Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars that released in 2014. The film revolved around Hazel (Shailene Woodley), a 16-year-old cancer patient, who is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she meets and falls in love with another cancer patient, Augustus (Ansel Elgort). The film is set to release in November this year.
