Whether it is his on his famous show Koffee With Karan or otherwise, the filmmaker has been infamous for getting celebs to spill the beans and give audiences the tea! It seems that this is the accusation he will be fighting for at the new quirky court room show Case Toh Banta Hai. Janta ka lawyer Riteish Deshmukh has summoned Karan for this with Varun Sharma defending him against the ‘atrangi Ilzaam’. It remains to be seen what will be Kusha Kapila doing in this episode of the show.
In a funny way, the trailer of the show featuring Karan Johar has been introduced. The Instagram lover shared a funny video on social media where he is seen receiving the summoning call from Riteish Deshmukh. When accused of revealing secrets in the public domain, Johar defends himself by saying people want to talk to him. The filmmaker goes on to threaten Riteish for getting on his nerves and challenges him by saying “Abb Lawyer Ko Hi Lawyer Hire Nahi Karne Diya Na Maine, Toh Mera Naam Bhi Karan Johar Nahi!” (Transl: I will ensure that the lawyer will have to hire another lawyer to defend him) Looks like this will be one dramatic episode to watch for!

Case Toh Banta Hai is a one-of-a-kind weekly comedy show where Riteish Deshmukh and Varun Sharma play the roles of public prosecutor and defense lawyer. Kusha plays the judge who decides the fate of these celebrity guests. The show started streaming on Amazon MiniTV from July 29.
