With the finale of Bigg Boss 17 nearing, the controversies and blame-games in the reality show are at an all-time high. Right before the six contestants face the final show-down, a press conference was organized for them which was attended by Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar, and Arun Kumar. The show is expected to one final elimination, which will be from the master himself. But before that, they planned to open up about their side of the story to the media, in which Abhishek Kumar opened up about the accusations against him related to Khanzadi’s mental health and the hoopla which followed owing to remarks made about his own mental health.
During the press conference, Abhishek Kumar revealed that he was always inhibited about believing anything that Khanzaadi says because of her behaviour towards him wherein she had often changed her statements about her feelings for him, on and off camera, which made him untrustworthy of the contestant. He also revealed that the influencer had lied about her health in the past and recalling the incident, Abhishek said, “Khanzadi ne jhooth bola tha. Jab who medical room mein gayi thi, tu bahar aake usne mujhe bola tha ki usne apne purane medications chalu karne hain and shayad main dubara se wheelchair pe bait sakti hoon, doctor ne aisa kahan hai. Main darr gaya and maine kahan ‘yaar, tu itne Dheere se giri aur itni purani hurt kaise ho gayi?’ Phir agle din Bigg Boss ne offline statement di ki doctor ne aisa bola hi nahi. Toh mujhe laga yeh itna jhooth kaise bol sakte hai. (Khanzadi lied. When she got out of the medical room, she told me that the doctors said that there were chances that she would have take to the wheelchair again. I was worried and scared. I thought, her fall was so low, how she have triggered a wound which was several years old. So, next day Bigg Boss gave an offline statement that the doctor had not said any of it and I wondered how could she lie about her health).”
On the other hand, talking about his own mental health, Abhishek Kumar revealed that he was hurt when Isha Malviya revealed something he told her in confidence. “Maine yeh cheez khud se nahi boli thi, Isha ne woh cheez nikaali thi kyunki jab main breakup zone mein tha, move on zone mein tha, tab maine Isha ko bola tha ki main psychiatrist ke paas jaa raha hoon. Aur mental health ki baat karein, toh main chahta tha ki main teek ho jaon aur hum saath ho jayen. Maine unko shayad doctor ka naam aur number bhi bataya tha. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki woh ek saal ki baad Bigg Boss mein woh cheez use karegi. Jab usne use kari woh mental mental kehke, aur uss cheez ki indication de rahi hai, maine usko bola ki Isha mereko yeh cheez mat bol, mujhe bura lag raha hai, aur usne yeh cheez baar baar use ki. Main claustrophobic bhi hoon aur uss time pe yeh sab ke wajah se maine woh kiya (In my case, I never said anything but it was Isha who broached the top. When I was in the breakup and move-on zone, I had told her about my visit to a psychiatrist and about me undergoing treatment, because I wanted to be better and wanted to get back with her. In fact, I had even shared the details of my doctor with her. But Id dint know that a year later, she would bring this up in Bigg Boss. When she kept calling me ‘mental’, I thought she is indicating the things I said. I confronted and even requested her to not say it because it hurts me. I am also claustrophobic and on that day, I started feeling breathless and all of it combined made me react the way I did on that day)."
