Bollywood’s emerging talent Aneet Padda registered a notable milestone in her career after securing two major honours at a recent awards ceremony held in Mumbai. The actor won the Best Debut Female award along with the Viewer’s Choice Best Actress honour, marking a significant moment early in her journey in the Hindi film industry.

The awards ceremony, which recognised achievements across Indian cinema, saw several actors and filmmakers in attendance. Among the evening’s memorable moments was Padda’s emotional acceptance speech, which quickly resonated with the audience present at the venue.
During her speech, the actor dedicated both her wins to her father and reflected on his long-standing dream of becoming an actor. Sharing a deeply personal moment on stage, she said, “The only thing coming to my mind right now is owing this to my dad, giving this to him. Papa, mainu pata hai tussi chote honde toh aap bhi actor banna chaunde si. Hun teri kudi actor ban gayi. Jado tussi mainu kaha ki mai apna sapna tere through jee re haan (Papa, I know that when you were younger, you wanted to become an actor. Now your daughter has become an actor. When you told me that I'm living my dream through you), I don’t think I’ve ever been happier. I love you so much.”
Her speech also included a message of gratitude for audiences, acknowledging the role viewers play in bringing stories to life. She added, “Secondly, I just really want to remind the audience that the magic you clap for on screen, vo taaliyan sirf hum actors ke liye nahi hai, vo actually aap sab ki kahaniyon ke liye hai aur aapki zindagi ke liye hai (those applauds were not only for us actors but dedicated to all your stories, your life). And I’m just really grateful I get to play small part in honoring it.”
Padda’s double win reflects the growing recognition she has received from both audiences and the industry. Also starring Ahaan Panday as the leading man in his debut film, Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri and produced by YRF, became one of the most appreciated films in 2025.
With these accolades marking an important moment in her early career, Padda’s emotional tribute and gratitude-filled speech became one of the highlights of the evening, drawing appreciation from those present at the ceremony as well as fans following the event online.
