The coronavirus that started in China's Wuhan has now spread across several countries in the world. With positive cases coming up in Indian in the last few days, authorities have suggested people take precautionary measures by maintaining hygiene. Bollywood celebrities who have a large number of followers on social media, too, have taken to social media to take precaution.

After Anushka Sharma, Anupam Kher, and Salman Khan, now Arjun Rampal shared a selfie of himself and wrote, "Don’t leave home without it, wear ur masks, carry hand sanitiser, don’t shake hands, avoid crowded places, be responsible. Don’t catch this damn virus. Be safe and a big Namaste. Love.”


Salman Khan too had shared a post urging people to greet each other with a ‘namaste’ rather than a handshake. Meanwhile, celebrities are also cancelling their travel plans abroad amidst the coronavirus scare. Recently, Deepika Padukone cancelled her trip to the Paris Fashion Week. The Indian International Film Academy (IIFA) that was to take place later this month in Madhya Pradesh too has been postponed as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile, Salman Khan cancelled his Thailand schedule of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
