Akshay Kumar undergoes wooden beads training for Baby : Bollywood News

By now we all know that Akshay Kumar and fitness go hand in hand and that he is one of the few heroes who like to constantly reinvent themselves. Considering that he comes from an extensive martial arts background in real life, it comes as no surprise that time and again, he defies all the limitsthat he has set for himself.

This time round, AkshayKumar underwent a very unusual training which involved wooden beads, for his upcoming film Baby. This kind of training with wooden beads usually goes on for 5-10 minutes at a stretch with 1-2 minutes concentrating only on the neck. As a part of the training, Akshay stood amidst the desert of Abu Dhabi and swung 50 wooden beads (which weighed approximately 2-3 kilos) around his neck.AkshayKumar also made sure to protect his spine by using his inner strength and not by throwing the beads around.

Baby, which is directed by Neeraj Pandey and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series) along with Shital Bhatia, Capeof Good Films & Crouching Tiger, releases on 23rd Jan, 2015.
