Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are one of the most humorous couples that B-town has seen! Do you remember the launch of the actress turned author’s book Mrs. Funnybones. While her wit is unmatchable, her husband’s love for fitness is known to all. Considering all these factors, the two celebrities decided to kick off their New Years in their own special way and shared about it on social media.

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share a video from the first morning of 2019. The actor is known to start his day early and during the wee hours of the morning, he was seen exercising. The B-town star owns a plush sea facing house in Juhu area and was seen working out in the lawn overlooking the sea. He gave a glimpse of his regime and also reasoned that his motivation is the two action packed releases of 2019.

While he didn’t reveal the names of these films, we assume that he would be referring to Kesari that features him in the role of an army man and Sooryavanshi with Rohit Shetty that will have him essay the character of an ATS officer. He captioned the video in question saying, “Sharing with you all the first sunrise of the New Year :) My workout motivation : two action-packed films this year, so find something to make you wake up, get up and get out there! Wishing you all a healthy and #HappyNewYear.”

On the other hand, his wife Twinkle Khanna had a completely different take on fitness and her start to the New Years. Stating about how difficult it is to stay in shape, Twinkle shared a witty post about welcoming 2019 on Instagram. She said, “65 days and I am back to where I started -I wish going around in circles burnt significant calories because then I would be a skinny chick and Earth would not be round as well :) #HappyNewYear.”
