Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior which is his 100th film. The actor has been promoting the film with Kajol and Saif Ali Khan. Considering this is a huge milestone in his career, promotions are hectic but final touches to the film are keeping him busy.
The actor, who has been part of the industry for decades, said recently that he doesn’t get scared before the release of his films. He gets anxious to know what will happen to know since much effort goes into the making of the films. He said that he expects people to like the film but what if they don’t? It is like waiting for exam results for the actor as one does not know how the audience will react.
Ajay Devgn has also reunited with Kajol in this film. She plays his wife. He said that she has always been a fabulous actor and they feel amazed to see how she becomes a different person in front of the camera. He said that she can effortlessly switch on and off. Ajay said that with experience comes maturity and that she has matured as a person. He said that her understanding has become better and that she has gone beyond what she was as an actor before.
Ajay further talked about his first film Phool Aur Kaante which is when he became serious about acting. He said that if one wants to do something, do it right or not do it at all. He got serious on set. Once the film released and worked, that came with responsibility. He said that since people liked him, he had to keep up the good work.
He has two movies in the pipeline – Bhuj: The Pride Of India and Maidaan and both based on real-life stories. The actor said that it is a coincidence that they both are coming in the same year. He said that real-life characters fascinate him. But, to break the chain, he is also doing Golmaal 5.
