It is a known fact that after the release of Laal Singh Chaddha last year, Aamir Khan announced a sabbatical from films because he wanted to spend more time with his close ones, especially his children Junaid, Ira, and Azad Khan. However, in the meanwhile, the actor has not refrained from making public appearances and in fact, we can see that Khan is quite active socially and is often spotted at events and get togethers. Yet the actor is yet to announce his upcoming film. So, when fans recently spotted him in a different look, they were left quite surprised.

Aamir Khan appeared in a completely different avatar with curly slightly long hair and a moustache when he was seen visiting a restaurant in Mumbai. While many were thrilled to see their favourite star and lined up to shake hands, take autographs and selfies, Khan too warmly reciprocated their love and was seen interacting with them. Whereas, a few others were left surprised to see him sport a new look, which fueled speculations about the actor working on a project. However, the actor’s team is yet to make an announcement about Khan’s return to films.

Despite staying silent, there have been many reports that are doing the rounds about Aamir Khan’s next film. Speaking of work commitments, although not an acting project, Aamir Khan did announce his next venture, wherein he will be taking the role of a producer. Under his banner Aamir Khan Productions, Rajkumar Santoshi will be directing a film titled Lahore 1947 featuring Sunny Deol in the lead. The announcement was made on social media by the production house in association with the filmmaker and will mark the first collaboration of Aamir with Sunny.
