I would have given it a 5/5, but 0.5 is deducted for the Man Mohana song. A MUST BUY album. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
After all those club and Dard-E-disco music, this one comes as a breath of fresh air. Pure Music and Poetic Lyrics at its best.
This is Brilliant effort by ARR and the team of Jodha Akbar.
The Pick from the Album is In Lamhon ke Daman mein. Javed Akhtar has kept the lyrics simple and AR Rahman proves yet again that there is no-one like him. Brilliant singing by Sonu Nigam. he is the best out there! Period!
A near MasterPiece.
ARR had composed brilliant bhajans in the past like in Lagaan, but here he did a half-baked job. Bela Shendre's voice does not suit it.
Azeem - Shaan is a Grand music.. Brilliant composition for a theme song.
Jashn-E Bahara - Is Sweet and simple.
Kwaja-Mere-Kwaja - A great sufi kalam. Good singing by the man himself Rahman. It should look great in the visuals.
Great use of instrumenets and vocal.
Hope Ashutosh Gowwarikar does justice to the music in the visuals.
Akbar (Hrithik) and Jodha (Aishwarya) yet again proves they have great chemistry the promos.
This album proves that one does not needs thgos remixes and jhin-chak stuff to make great music.
Simplicity yet GRAND with Variety is what I would describe this album.
If only the Azeem-O-Shaan has a intrumental, this would have been "Sone pe Suhaga". Please add that intrument in the next batch and rework on the Man Mohana Bhajan.
