Yash and Radhika Pandit invest Rs. 24 crores in Alibag beachfront land; join growing list of celebrity property owners
Actor Yash and his wife Radhika Pandit have reportedly made a significant real estate investment in Alibag, one of Maharashtra’s most sought-after destinations for luxury homes and celebrity retreats. According to recent reports, the couple has acquired a premium land parcel in the coastal town, joining a growing list of film personalities and high-profile investors who have chosen the region for their property portfolios.
As per details cited from registration documents accessed by real estate consultancy firm Liases Foras and reported by Business Standard, the property is located in Village Kamath, Taluka Alibag, District Raigad. The acquisition is said to be valued at approximately Rs. 24 crores.
The documents reportedly reveal that the transaction was registered on May 18. Along with the purchase value, Yash is said to have paid a stamp duty of Rs. 1.44 crores. Additional charges of Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 5,200 were reportedly incurred towards registration fees and document handling expenses.
The land has been classified as agricultural property under Section 7 and carries an official valuation rate of Rs. 3,750 per square metre. Reports further state that the acquisition comprises two adjoining agricultural land parcels with a combined area of approximately 5,289 square metres, or 0.5289 hectares.
One of the most notable aspects of the property is its location. According to the documents, the land is bordered by a village road on the eastern side and the Arabian Sea on the western side. A narrow lane running along the northern boundary reportedly offers direct access to the beach, making it an especially attractive investment in the rapidly developing coastal region.
Alibag has emerged as a preferred destination for celebrities and business leaders over the last few years, thanks to its proximity to Mumbai, scenic coastline, and growing luxury real estate market. Several prominent personalities from the entertainment industry have invested in villas, farmhouses, and beachfront properties in the area.
On the professional front, Yash is gearing up for the release of Toxic – A Fairytale For Grown Ups. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. Following the massive success of the KGF franchise and his iconic portrayal of Rocky Bhai, fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the big screen with the ambitious upcoming project.
