Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is set against the backdrop of foreign mafia

It has been a long since the launch of the interesting and nail-biting teaser of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire starring Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. As the audience finally had a glimpse of the world of Salaar, it gave a glance of its foreign backdrop. The teaser, which was launched on July 6, featured some glimpses that spoke volumes of its story being set in the international territories.

The teaser of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has revealed that the film will deal with the international mafia and we hear that it will showcase crime on an international level. Sources close to the film claim that the makers were keen on broadening the canvas of this mass entertainer and hence decided to set it in an international location. For the unversed, in the teaser, we can see Tinnu Anand addressing Salaar in English to help the goons understand and it was clearly shown that the gang surrounding Anand were not Indian. The description, that Tinnu Anand gives about Prabhas's character presents him as the powerful man. As the film can be seen dealing with the international mafia, it would be interesting to see how he will be fighting them too.

 

Coming from the house of the one of the most popular action directors, Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, the Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire teaser featured some stirring visuals, a power packed background score, a mega canvas, and showcased Prabhas as well as the antagonist of the film, Prithviraj Sukumaran in never seen before avatar. We hear that the upcoming action entertainer is one of the most ambitious projects of the filmmaker.

 

Hombale Films presents Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire which also star Shruti Haasan as Aadya along with Jagapathi Babu in a pivotal role. It is slated to release in theatres on September 28 in multiple languages including the four South languages as well as Hindi.
