Rashmika Mandanna reminisces Japan trip after presenting at Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024: "I am going to keep coming back every year now"
Putting India on the global map, Rashmika Mandanna became the first actor from India to have attended & presented at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024 in Tokyo. The actress is truly making waves for her genuine love for anime. She also took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt note about her visit to Tokyo.
Rashmika Mandanna wore a strapless blingy outfit for the ceremony. Sharing the photos, she captioned it, “Japan was a place I've dreamt of going to for years.. since childhood never thought it would ever be possible.. let alone be a part of an award show giving an award to one of the creators of and in the anime world!!! and finally it came true.!! Being able to meet everyone here, receiving the incredible love here, receiving such a warm welcome.. the food, the weather, the place so clean, such lovely people.. It's amazing! Thank you Japan! Really! I love you! Truly! You are just toooo special.. I am going to keep coming back every year now #AnimeAwards @crunchyroll_in@animeawards.official."
In one of the throwback reels, Rashmika took on the 'Loca Loca' trend with her unique twist. What set it apart was her synchronized dance moves with her favorite anime characters featured in the video simultaneously. She also openly expressed her admiration for the Japanese manga series Naruto and is a dedicated follower of the K-Pop sensation BTS.
On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is slated to star in Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 sequel Pushpa: The Rule, The Girlfriend and Chhava.
