On NTR’s 98th birth anniversary, Chiranjeevi requests the government to honour the legendary actor-politician with the Bharat Ratna
On Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's 98th birth anniversary today, megastar Chiranjeevi requested the government to honour NTR posthumously with Bharat Ratna. Tributes poured in for the legendary NTR today on his birth anniversary.
Chiranjeevi took to social media and requested the government to honour NTR with the highest civilian award, which is the Bharat Ratna. In his post written in Telugu, Chiranjeevi said that it would be a great honour for the Telugu people. He also requested that the government honour him after two years marking his 100th birth anniversary.
Chiranjeevi also shared a black-and-white picture of him having a conversation with NTR while holding his hand.
NT.R is a legendary actor and politician. He served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years over three terms. He passed away on January 18, 1996.
