Mohanlal receives Kia EV6 worth Rs. 72 lakhs as a birthday gift
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal turned a year older on May 21. While he received lots of special surprises from his industry colleagues and friends, his friend and businessman Alex K. Varghese of Hedge Equities gifted a special present, a car to the Narasimham star on Sunday. Mohanlal unveiled a new pair of wheels, a Kia EV6 model which is worth Rs. 72 lakhs.
Mohanlal is a brand ambassador of Hedge Equities and the car was a special gift to commemorate his 63 years. Mohanlal received the gift and was seen exploring the car along with his wife Suchitra. On the other hand, the Malayalam superstar had a rather low key 63rd birthday celebration.
Mohanlal took to Instagram to share details of his birthday. The superstar celebrated it with the underprivileged girls from the Angelz Hut and later, also presented a house to one of the 2018 flood victim. He posted about the celebrations on Instagram saying, “A humble birthday celebration with the blessings of the little angels of Angelz Hut, a shelter home run by the HUM Foundation! The project nurtures girls from underprivileged communities, empowering them for a great future. Thank you for this day, Zon Edamuttath!”
In yet another post, the actor wrote, “Linu’s family receives the key to the second house built under ViswaSanthi's Santhi Bhavanam project. Linu is a native of Kozhikode who lost his life in the 2019 flood rescue operations after landing several lives to safety. This is a tribute of love & thanks to this hero and his family. @viswasanthifoundation.
On the work front, Mohanlal will be collaborating with Rajinikanth for a pivotal role in the latter’s upcoming film Jailer. Besides that the actor has films like Malaikottai Vaaliban, Ram, L2 Empuran, among others in the pipeline.
