Makers officially announce 51st film of Dhanush ahead of his birthday

Dhanush’s 51st movie has been announced officially on the occasion of the birth anniversary of legendary producer, distributor, and exhibitor Shri Narayan Das K Narang. The National Award-Winning actor will be joining forces with Tollywood's director and National Award-Winning film-maker Sekhar Kammula. While the film is yet to be titled, it is currently being referred to as D51.

D51 is expected to bring together the deadly combination of Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula and is also said to be mounted on a grand scale in multiple languages with the blessings of Narayan Das K Narang and will be produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under their production house Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (A Unit Of Asian Group), in association with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Sonali Narang will be presenting the movie.

 

 

The makers released a concept poster of D51 ahead of Dhanush's birthday on July 28. Talking about revealing further details on it, a source close to the film said, “Sekhar Kammula (has) prepared a perfect story which will feature Dhanush in a never-before-seen avatar. The makers are also in talks with some very big names to be a part of this project. The details of other cast and technical crew will be announced soon.”

 

Dhanush, who was last seen in the bilingual Sir, is currently gearing up for Captain Miller which is expected to be a period action drama. Besides that, he also has D50, which is yet to be titled, in the pipeline.
