Devara Part 2: Koratala Siva drops major hint about the character of Janhvi Kapoor in part 2; says, “She has multiple dimensions in her character, which will unfold later”

With Devara Part 1 ending in a cliffhanger, audiences are now anticipating to see what the Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor starrer holds in store for the second instalment.  Director Koratala Siva has shared exciting insights into what audiences can expect in Devara 2. While many believed that they couldn’t get enough of Janhvi in the first part, Siva asserted that they are in for a surprise in the next part. In a recent interview, Siva opened up about Janhvi Kapoor's limited screen time in the first instalment, revealing that her character will take centre stage in the second instalment.

Siva stated, “She can bring a lot of freshness into the film and have multiple dimensions in her character, which will be unfolded in part 2. There is a lot of drama for her and surprising twists & turns that can happen with her character.” This revelation suggests a significant evolution in Janhvi's role, and a deeper understanding to her character, Thangamma. “You will have to wait and watch part 2 to see more of Janhvi!” he added, hinting at an intricately woven storyline that will not only highlight her journey but also explore the complexities of her character.

 

Devara marked the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor, who is the daughter of one of the biggest Indian superstars Sridevi, who is also one of the biggest Telugu actresses. Along with her, popular Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan too made his debut who played the role of antagonist in Devara: Part 1. Jr NTR marked his return to theatres in a solo release after six years and is seen in a double role in this Kortala Siva franchise. As Devara 2 gears up for its release, the film is expected to be filled with drama, unexpected twists, and a richer exploration of character dynamics.
