Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson’s wedding was a magical, three-day celebration set against the stunning landscapes of Italy’s Amalfi Coast and Cilento. With the help of renowned Florence-based wedding planner Costanza Giaconi, the couple turned their dream of a fairytale wedding into a reality. Giaconi, who had an immediate connection with the couple, worked tirelessly to plan the event in under six months.
The perfect venue: Rocca Cilento Castle
One of the biggest challenges the couple faced was choosing the perfect venue. After exploring various regions in Italy, fate brought them to Rocca Cilento Castle. Giaconi recalls the moment they found it: “As soon as we entered the gates of Rocca Cilento Castle, I knew this was it.” The castle’s blend of history, romance, and charm perfectly matched the couple’s vision, creating the ideal setting for their special day.
An extravagant celebration for 200 guests
The wedding festivities began with a glamorous cocktail party on a private motorboat, “Patrizia,” along the Amalfi Coast. International guests enjoyed breathtaking views and a Michelin-starred menu, setting the tone for the luxurious weekend. The wedding day, held at Rocca Cilento Castle, was an intimate yet grand affair, complete with a parade, live performances, and a stunning reception dinner.
Fried Pizza and Pasta for an authentic Italian farewell
On the final day, the couple bid farewell to their guests with a relaxing event at Giardini del Fuenti in Vietri sul Mare. Embracing the true spirit of Italy, the couple served fried pizza and pasta, offering a family-style lunch under the lemon groves. This laid-back event was the perfect conclusion to the extravagant weekend.
