BTS’ Jimin announced as new house ambassador for luxury jewellery brand Tiffany & Co.

The era, in which only supermodels and Hollywood superstars served as brand ambassadors for international fashion businesses, has long since passed. More Korean celebrities have accepted positions as ambassadors, either for Korea or the global market, thanks to the growth of inclusion in Korea and the influence of the Korean wave. The adoration of South Korean artists by viewers for K-pop music, K-dramas, movies has captivated everyone. The largest luxury companies in the world have resorted to some of the most well-known Korean celebrities for a variety of partnerships due to their ever-expanding reach. After BTS member Jimin becoming the global brand ambassador for Dior, the artist has joined hands with yet another brand.

 

BTS’ Jimin announced as new house ambassador for luxury jewellery brand Tiffany & Co.

 

The premium jewellery brand Tiffany & Co. has announced that South Korean sensation Jimin would become their newest brand ambassador. Jimin joins the ranks of other Asian stars who have recently fronted commercials for the company, including BLACKPINK’s Rose and Chinese musician Jackson Yee. Later this year, Jimin will make his campaign debut for Tiffany. The singer and dancer will be the face of many forthcoming advertisements as part of Jimin's new partnership with Tiffany & Co. The partnership will allow Jimin to “showcase his unique approach to jewelry styling as he wears iconic Tiffany & Co. designs.” The actor can be seen wearing a stack of half-pavé, full-pavé, and diamond-accented Lock bracelets from Tiffany's in an Instagram picture announcing the news. Michael B. Jordan most recently wore a similar design to the Creed III European premiere in February.

 

“It is a great honor to partner with Tiffany and embody the values of a brand that has a passion for design, innovation and artistry,” Jimin said in a statement to WWD. The Tiffany & Co. collaboration with Jimin is the second high-end brand partnership announced for a member of BTS this week, after Louis Vuitton’s February 24 announcement that J-Hope would be joining their brand as an ambassador. BTS had previously been signed to LV in 2021, but that contract expired, and 2023 has seen individual members of the group breaking out on their own.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Jimin is gearing up for his most anticipated first solo album FACE, set to be released on March 24.
