Vidya Balan jokes about ‘bashing up Ram Kapoor’ as she shares this BTS video from the sets of Neeyat

Vidya Balan fans cannot stop rejoicing as they are all set to welcome the award-winning star yet again on the big screen. Playing the role of a no-nonsense cop Mira Rao, Vidya’s next titled Neeyat will see her unveiling some secrets in a heritage castle, nestled away in a corner of Scotland. Going by the trailer, Ram Kapoor aka business tycoon Akshay Kapoor dies under mysterious circumstances in his castle where he is celebrating life with his close friends. Opening up about the film, Vidya answered some interesting questions about it.

On the sets of Neeyat, which was in Scotland, as Vidya Balan enjoyed the picturesque view around the castle, she answered questions about how her day of shoot kick starts. The actress responded she generally starts the day ‘by getting into the skin of Mira Rao’. When she was asked about her agenda for the day, she joked it was ‘bashing Ram Kapoor’. In the same video, the actress also confessed that he is one actor who ‘laughs louder than’ her. “I have always been accused of being someone who laughs loudly but now there is someone who is far louder,” added the actress in the video.

 

She also revealed that she loves being an actor continuing, “I just get to live as different people and different lives. This is what I live for”. The video also showcased several glimpses of the on the sets fun and Vidya was seen as cheery self. Neeyat, directed by Anu Menon, is a whodunit thriller which also features Shahana Goswami, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Niki Walia, Prajakta Koli, Shashank Arora, Dipannita Sharma, Amrita Puri, among others. The film is slated for release on July 7.
