Twinkle Khanna pens a heartwarming note for Akshay Kumar on his 55th birthday; calls him ‘Scrabble Master’

From unseen photos to funny videos, actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna’s Instagram is a lot of fun to scroll through for her 6.7 million followers. However, the latest addition to her media feed is a heartwarming letter for her actor husband Akshay Kumar. As September 9, marks his 55th birthday, Twinkle Khanna took to her social media handle to express her affection.

Interestingly, the former actress shared an unseen photo featuring the couple playing a board game. Penning a caption for the photo, Khanna wrote, “The Birthday Boy who wins at every game! Yes, he beat me at Backgammon. Then he annihilated an Oxford chap and a tag team of four players, all against him, in a game of, wait for this, Scrabble!”

 

Her caption further read, “The best part, a friend got him a halwa cake just like the one his mother used to make for him every year on his birthday. / Happy Birthday my Scrabble Master”, along with a red heart emoticon. Interestingly, Kumar was quick to respond to Khanna’s special post for him as he dropped a Thank You in the comments section.

 

 

 

Along with the Mela actress, many of Akki’s peers, friends and contemporaries from the film industry virtually wish him a happy birthday. One of those is Tiger Shroff, who will soon share the screen space with the birthday boy in a film titled Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The actor shared a still from the upcoming film.

 

 

 

On the professional front, Akshay was last seen in Anand L. Rai’s Raksha Bandhan. He has multiple releases line-up; Ram Setu with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi and the yet-to-titled Soorarai Pottru remake.
