Abhishek Banerjee is taking a moment to reflect on his journey in the industry after receiving a major acting honour for his performance in Stolen. The actor, who has steadily built a reputation for his versatility, shared an emotional note on social media, revisiting his early days and acknowledging the people who shaped his path.
What made the moment particularly special was receiving the award from Arunabh Kumar, founder of The Viral Fever. Banerjee credited Kumar and TVF for giving him his first acting opportunity with the popular web series TVF Pitchers, where his dialogue “Tu Beer Hai” became a cultural catchphrase among audiences.
Sharing pictures from the event, Abhishek wrote, “Pic-1 From saying TU BEER HAI in My first ever acting work for Tvf pitchers, To receiving the award from @arunabhkumar today I can proudly say mai beer hun finaly yogi ney award diya And also my fav co actor who i hv hv never acted with!! even though we hv done two shows together @rasikadugal.”
He also reflected on encouragement he received from Ranveer Singh, adding, “Pic 2 - the only STAR who msgd me saying that I have long way to go, after watching pataal lok.. from receiving that message to be on the same page as him. Life has only taught me to be more patient.
