Starting the list is Amazon Prime Video’s Varun Dhawan starrer Bawaal that stands tall as the most-watched direct-to-OTT film of the year, amassing a staggering viewership of 21.2 million. The film's gripping storyline and stellar performances have resonated with audiences, making it a must-watch. Following closely is Jio Cinema’s Bloody Daddy starring Shahid Kapoor, securing the second position with 17 million viewers. This intense and emotionally charged film has left a lasting impact on viewers, earning critical acclaim for its powerful narrative. While Disney+ Hotstar’s Gulmohar takes the third spot with 16.3 million viewers. The film's captivating storytelling and visual aesthetics have made it a standout in the realm of direct-to-OTT releases.

 

Interestingly, Disney+ Hotstar captures the fourth, fifth and sixth slots with Tumse Na Ho Payega that garnered a viewership of 14.3 million, in fourth position, Apurva in fifth with 12.6 million viewers, and the Sara Ali Khan starrer Gaslight sixth with 12.5 million viewers. Streaming giant Netfli, manages to claim the seventh position with the Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Jaane Jaan securing 11.6 million viewers.

 

Bringing up the final three spots on the top 10 list are Tiku Weds Sheru with 11.5 million viewers, and Pippa with 11.4 million views both from Amazon Prime Video, with Mission Majnu from Netflix rounding off the top 10 with 10.8 million viewers.

 

In the Top 10 charts, Disney+ Hotstar has 4 movies, while Amazon Prime Video has 3, followed by Netflix with 2 and Jio Cinema with 1.
