Star-Studded Reunion: Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar reconnect with Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan in Khandala
Renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar and veteran actor Shabana Azmi recently enjoyed a heartwarming evening in the picturesque town of Khandala, joined by film industry stalwarts Rakesh Roshan and his wife Pinkie Roshan, along with some mutual friends.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Shabana Azmi shared an endearing snapshot from the gathering, giving fans a glimpse into the cozy get-together. The veteran actress, who was last seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, expressed her delight in spending time at the Roshans' Khandala abode. In the accompanying caption, she wrote, “Enjoying a lovely evening at #Rakesh and #Pinky Roshan’s lovely home in Khandala . We are neighbours in Mumbai too but we meet up far more often in Khandala . 2 hours away from mumbai and it becomes a different world !”

Shabana Azmi was recently seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film revolved around the enchanting love story of Rocky and Rani, portrayed by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh respectively. Jamini and Kanwal, depicted by Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra, add a layer of complexity to the narrative as Rani's grandmother and Rocky's grandfather.
