Star Plus to explore the world of musical shows with Mohit Malik, Sayli Salunkhe starrer Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si

Known for its quintessential Indian family dramas, Star Plus has now decided to explore a new zone by venturing into using music as the backdrop in their new fiction show, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si. Starring Mohit Malik and Sayli Salunkhe, it brings a story of two individuals in their 30s and 40s, and their intertwined journey in pursuit of their dreams, eventually addressing the question of whether love is also possible past a certain age. With this show, Star Plus is collaborating yet again with producer Rajan Shahi.

Earlier it was being said that Rajan Shahi will be exploring the subject of a mature story on life and love for the first time in Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si. The show revolves around a girl with a unique voice trying to make a place in the music industry against all odds. For the unversed, Rajan Shahi has collaborated with Star Plus in the past for shows like Anupama, Bidaai, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, Tere Mere Sheher, Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and once again,  the producer is keen on creating something different together with the new upcoming show.

 

Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si will bring together Mohit Malik and Sayli Salunkhe as the leads together for the first time and what is even more interesting is that it is going to be a musical love saga that revolves around two middle-aged people from different backgrounds and how their world views collide when they meet, with music set to play an important role in their journey. A source close to the show had opened up about the new series saying, “It is going to be a musical, fictional love saga. People are already excited for the show, as Mohit Malik is making a comeback with it. Mohit Malik's charm and Sayli Salunkhe's simplicity are going to create fireworks on the screen, and Rajan Shahi's direction is going to be the cherry on top.”

 

Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si produced by Rajan Shahi will air on Star Plus from August 8 at 9 pm from Monday to Sunday.
