Sobhita Dhulipala graces the runway for Label De Belle at Lakme Fashion Week 2023, evoking the essence of a snow princess with her presence

Label Debelle’s collection “Nazara” was a rainbow of elegant fashion at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. “Nazara” in Hindi refers to ‘spectacle’ or ‘sight’, which fitted the theme of the collection perfectly, when the brand drew inspiration from the glory of the 19th century era. Created in a subdued colour story of dusky earthy tones, the line offered a variety of styles and silhouettes that will appeal to the most fastidious buyers.

Interesting combos like cropped, glittering, jackets vied for attention with swirling skirts. Sharply cut jackets and trousers created a great formal look. Fusion fashion directions were emphasised for sarees, kurtas, robes, shararas and capes. Embroidery was the leitmotif of the Label Debelle brand, and this was evident in the intricate 3D embellishments, as well as the clever appliqués, patchwork and ombré additions.

 

Nancy Lahuruwalla of DeBelle shared, "Celebrating heritage and elegance, 'Nazara' at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI is a poetic fusion of 19th-century charm and modern confidence. It was exciting to showcase this collection, which empowers you to embrace history's splendor with contemporary flair. With intricate karchupi embellishments, 3D motifs, and the opulence of zardosi work, 'Nazara' invites you to step into a world where past meets present, allowing you to wear timeless beauty with unwavering confidence.”

 

 

The very stately and elegant, Sobhita Dhulipala ended the “Nazara” collection by Label Debelle. The majestic, white, lehenga fitted at the hips, flared out luxuriously, while the tiny one-shouldered, backless choli with a sensuous trail, completed the look for lovely Sobhita.

 

Sobhita Dhulipala shared, "I really like what I am wearing. White is such a classic look – it's fine and pretty.  So many elements come together when creating an outfit and to create such beautiful pieces, is truly admirably. I loved walking for De Belle; the collection is simply stunning."

 

The “Nazara” collection by Label Debelle brought a fresh dimension to formal and bridal wear for the coming season.
