At the FDCI India Couture Week 2023, fashion and Bollywood converged in a breath-taking display of grace and elegance as the gorgeous Shraddha Kapoor walked the runway as the star performer for revered designer Rahul Mishra. Shraddha Kapoor, who is well known for her diverse acting abilities and lovable charisma, demonstrated that she is a serious contender on the runway as well, mesmerising everyone with her ethereal presence and effortless connection with Rahul Mishra's stunning designs.

The inspiration for the festive season has only just begun as FDCI Indian Couture Week 2023 comes to a close. The closing night by Rahul Mishra had a similarly stellar line-up and muse to round out the week in style. As she turned showstopper to Rahul Mishra, Shraddha Kapoor rocked the stage in a glittering silver lehenga. Delicate flower adornments in pastel pink, yellow, and white covered the shimmering lehenga. It was worn with a similar blouse that had a plunging neckline. Shraddha's short-sleeved cloak with short fringes that she wore over her shirt gave the ensemble a dramatic touch. Shraddha finished off her appearance with a chunky choker necklace and glammed-up, dewy makeup that featured pink lips.

 

Rahul Mishra's latest bridal collection focuses on the embroidery aspect of artwork and is inspired by nature. FDCI shared a post of the collection and captioned it, 'Couturier Rahul Mishra showcased his collection "We, The People' at the Hyundai Closing Show on Day 9 of the Hyundai India Couture Week in association with Reliance Brands. The collection strives to draw the enablers of couture, the artisans, to the face of its narrative. It is a work of wonderment that assumes if an embroiderer would really envision the adda (embroidery frame) turning into a lotus pond and if there is an instance when they feel themselves in the Sundarbans amidst its virgin forest, caressing a majestic tiger."

 

 

The collection "We The People" by Rahul Mishra focused on his artisans, and craftsmen and was inspired by nature. The exceptional skills of the makers and artisans were displayed in these meticulous details of the designer's collection. The artisans are part of his "ethical community", to which he dedicated his collection. The designer's bridal couture was recently appreciated at Paris Couture Week 2023 when his showstopper walked the ramp in an ivory lehenga.

 

Rahul Mishra's collection is a beautiful culmination that celebrates the diversity and craftsmanship of the finest Indian details.
