Sharad Kelkar says he has been receiving threatening messages from fans of The Family Man series

The Family Man series has been one of the most popular web series of recent times. The second season of the series was released a month ago on Amazon Prime Video. Actor Sharad Kelkar plays the role of Arvind, a colleague and friend of Priyamani's character Suchi. Kelkar recently revealed that he has received threatening messages from fans of the show.

Sharad Kelkar's character has a romantic inclination towards Suchi, who is the wife of Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) on the show. In the first season, it was shown that Suchi and Arvind share a room in Lonavala when they go for a business meeting. However, the makers do not show what happened in Lonavala between the two leading to fans implying that Suchi cheated on Srikant.

 

Talking to an entertainment portal, Sharad said that he gets messages like 'Srikant and Suchi ke beech mat aao, jaan se maar denge tumko' (Do not come in between Suchi and Srikant, I will kill you). The actor said that he gets a lot of threats and is used to them by now.

 

Talking about his character and equation with Suchi, Sharad said that he has heard several theories regarding the Lonavala mystery. He said after the first season there were theories that Arvind is Zulfiqar for whom the mission was done. He is also enjoying the memes about Suchi and Arvind in Lonavla.

 

Meanwhile, Priyamani who plays Suchi has also been receiving hate from fans for her character’s behaviour with Srikant.
