Shanaya Kapoor shares photos of Rakhi Celebrations from nephew Vayu’s second birthday bash

This year actress Sonam Kapoor decided to host a pre-birthday bash for her son Vayu which was held during the August 17-18 weekend in Mumbai. While she celebrated his first birthday with husband Anand Ahuja and his family in Delhi last year, this time around, Kapoor was accompanied by her entire family including cousins Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Mohit Marwah among others. After the actress penned a heartfelt note for her brothers on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, soon-to-be-debutant Shanaya Kapoor shared photos from the bash.

In fact, the photos posted by Shanaya Kapoor revealed how the Kapoor sisters decided to also celebrate Rakhi along with the birthday of Vayu. She posted these pics on her Instagram page, wherein one of them, Shanaya is seen tying Rakhi to Mohit Marwah and also posing with her other cousin Akshay Marwah. In another photo, she and Khushi are trying Rakhi to Arjun Kapoor as well. Besides them, Shanaya also posted a glimpse of her tying rakhi to her own brother Jahaan Kapoor on the special occasion.

 

 

Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor shared one photo from the celebration of her as a part of the series of pics in the Rakhi special post, where she is posing with all her male cousins as a Raksha Bandhan tribute.

 

 

About the professional commitments of the Kapoors

 

Shanaya Kapoor was expected to make her big debut in the Dharma film Bedhadak but the latter was shelved due to unknown reasons. Followed by that, the debutant is expected to make her acting debut with Vrushabha – a pan India entertainer starring Mohanlal. Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor is currently spending time with her family and is shuttling between multiple cities with her son Vayu. Arjun Kapoor is gearing up for two major releases which included his much-anticipated Singham Again where he plays the antagonist along with Meri Patni Ki Remake starring Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar.
