Shah Rukh Khan’s protective gesture towards Rani Mukerji wins hearts; see video

Shah Rukh Khan is not only known for his acting prowess but also for winning the hearts of his fans through little gestures. One such act of his that is winning the hearts of netizens took place yesterday at the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) where he was seen protecting his friend and co-star Rani Mukerji.

A video has surfaced online where SRK is seen putting his arm behind Rani in order to ensure her safety from a large bunch of fans and paparazzi. Both are seen dressed in black at the event.

Shah Rukh was also applauded yesterday when he reacted on the hate his upcoming film Pathaan is receiving on social media. He said at the festival, “Social media is often driven by a certain narrowness of view that limits human nature to its baser self. I read somewhere that negativity increases social media consumption and thereby increases its commercial value as well. Such pursuits enclose the collective narrative, making it divisive and destructive.”

 

Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Pathaan is all set to release in cinemas on January 25.
