Shah Rukh Khan calls Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bhakshak a ‘hard-hitting' movie: “The whole cast is outstanding”

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the man behind Red Chillies Entertainment, has lauded their upcoming production Bhakshak. Extending his best wishes on social media, Khan commended the Bhumi Pednekar starrer as a ‘hard-hitting’ film. Acknowledging director Pulkit and the entire team, the superstar's endorsement adds weight to the film's significance.

Shah Rukh Khan took to X, formerly Twitter, to say, “A story of resilience that needs to be told. #Bhakshak a film inspired by true events, releasing on 9th February, only on Netflix!” To which, director Pulkit replied, “This is dream. Thank you @iamsrk Sir for all the love and support.”

 

 

 

SRK then responded, “All the best for the film. It’s such a hard-hitting film…!! And the whole cast is outstanding.”

 

 

 

Directed by Pulkit and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, Bhakhsak features Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava and Sai Tamhankar, along with Bhumi Pednekar. The film follows the life of a fearless investigative journalist who uncovers shocking secrets hidden within a girls’ shelter home.

 

Reflecting on her role in the film, Pednekar says, “In my journey as an actor, I've always been drawn to clutter-breaking films that go beyond the conventional narrative. Bhakshak is also one such film, in fact, it is one of the most significant films of my career.
