ON THE SET: After Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor begins shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu

Shraddha Kapoor has been keeping busy with her upcoming projects. The actress, who is training for Saina Nehwal biopic, has begun shooting her next film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The shooting began last week with Shahid Kapoor in Uttarakhand.

 

On Monday morning, Shraddha Kapoor was really excited to start the new journey. “Day 1 on ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ excited to start this new journey! See you on set Shahid Kapoor! We came across several pictures of Shraddha completed wrapped up with jackets and covered her head with a beanie. She was seen holding her notes while exchanging conversation with her crew. Another actor will be soon announced as it is supposed to be a love triangle between him, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

 

 

This film marks the second collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor after Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider.

 

 

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Shahid Kapoor will essay the role of a lawyer in Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The film will star Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. It will be shot across Haridwar, Rishikesh, Tehri, Mussoorie, and Nainital. Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a social comedy-drama that gives a quirky take on the conspiracy behind exorbitant electricity bills.
