Robert Pattinson’s The Batman gets a special look 'Vengeance' themed teaser ahead of new trailer release during NBA All-Stars Game

With only a matter of weeks left for the release of highly-anticipated The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, Warner Bros. are amping up the promotion game for Matt Reeves’ gritty murder-mystery reboot. The makers recently revealed a new Vengeance-themed teaser in anticipation for a full trailer during NBA All-Stars Game.

A new teaser from the NBA on TNT Twitter account revealed that there will be a new trailer during tonight's All-Star game. The special look teaser begins with NBA All-Star game on screen outside the stadium which suddenly starts to glitch and reveal the words "unmask the truth" along with some footage of crime scenes before revealing the Riddler's signature green question mark. The next moment the commentator spots a bat signal glowing above the stadium following Batman himself jumping onto the roof. Then begins the actual teaser.

 

 

 

The teaser features footage and snippets from a few scenes of the upcoming film we saw in previous promos. It starts with the usual suspects including Zoë Kravitz's Catwoman, and Colin Farrell's Penguin referring to the Batman as Vengeance. One of the scenes features Zoe Kravitz’s sassy Catwoman, who seems to be getting closer to the caped crusader, jokingly asks the Dark Knight if he ever says hello. "Are you just hideously scarred?" she asks wondering who’s behind the mask to which the mighty Batman replies “Yes” hinting at some deeper emotional scars, as Collider mentions, that the film may deal with.

 

Robert Pattinson’s The Batman arrives in theaters exclusively on March 4, 2022. The film also features Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as GCPD's James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot.
