Ranveer Singh shares a passionate kiss with Deepika Padukone but caption steals limelight - “Shashi Tharoor se caption likhaya?” ask netizens
Hours after the release of Deepika Padukone starrer Gehraiyaan, her husband and actor Ranveer Singh praised her and the film. However, it was the picture shared by the actor that had netizens go aww. Ranveer shared a picture of him and Deepika sharing a steamy kiss on a beach. While one could not take their eyes off this adorable couple, some were also amazed by the caption for the post.
Sharing the picture, Ranveer in the caption wrote the lyrics of Deepika's latest track from Gehraiyaan, 'Doobey'. He was also all praise for Deepika's performance in the film. The actor wrote, "Doobey... haan doobey... Ek dooje me yaha Tour de force Transcendent, superlative and sublime! What an absolute masterclass of a performance, baby! Such fine, nuanced and heartfelt artistry! ..at your consummate and perless best in this one! You make me so proud @deepikapadukone".
Amazed by the language of the post, netizens wondered if Ranveer sought help from Congress MP Shashi Tharoor. The minister is known for his English vocabulary skills and using words that make one reach out for the dictionary. "Seems like Shashi Tharoor helped you to write this caption," commented a user.
"The caption is a reminder that Baba was a copywriter back in the day," wrote another user.
"Shashi Tharoor se caption likhaya kya bhai," asked yet another user.
Meanwhile, Gehraiyaan is directed by Shakun Batra and also stars Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
